When Will We All Get To Try Anthem?

Over the past weekend EA’s upcoming space shooter Anthem has seen its first round of alpha testing for a select few people. The big question now is when can the rest of us mere mortals get our hands on the game for the first time?

EA have announced that there will be an open Beta on the Xbox running from February 1st to the 3rd. This means that anyone who’s interested can get a look at what the game has to offer.

If you are a little keener to get your hands on the game there is a chance for you to try out the game a little earlier with the VIP demo. This will run from January 25th to the 27th. To get access to this you need to have either pre-ordered the game or be an EA Access subscriber. Alternatively you can subscribe to the Anthem Newsletter to be in with a chance to win a VIP code.

Anthem is set to come out on February 22nd and after the perceived failure of Bioware’s last offering Mass Effect: Andromeda and EA’s passion for closing studios this could be the last hurrah for the studio.
