After Microsoft today announced that Xbox Live multiplayer is going free till the 19th February, Major Nelson has now confirmed via Twitter that two games will be joining the promotion as part of Xbox’s ‘Free Play Days’.

First up you’ll be able to download and play Rocket League. If you’ve yet to try out the zany football/driving crossbreed title, you can check out our review. We said that ‘Rocket League offers one of the most complete multiplayer experiences available right now, and packs in a significant amount of fun into a crazy package. Definitely worth the asking price, outstanding.’ Be sure to check it out!

Secondly there’s NBA 2K17 from 2K games. The series has seen high praise over the last few years. Dwarfing efforts of EA and has gained a very respectable score on Metacritic. So if shooting hoops is your thing, be sure to check it out before the weekend is over!

Check out trailers for both titles below:

Will you be testing either of the games out this weekend? Let us know in the comments!
