The second paid expansion of CD Projekt Red’s huge open world fantasy game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt may have been delayed as the developer has slightly altered the release window from Q1 2016 (January-March 2016) to the first half of 2016 (January – June 2016). The slight change was touched upon briefly in a press release for The Witcher 3’s first paid expansion, Hearts Of Stone, that was released yesterday, October the 13th.

Although, the Blood and Wine product page on CD Projekt Red’s own GOG.com site still shows the Blood and Wine expansion is scheduled for a 2016 Q1 release, a Projekt Red representative has stated that an actual release date for the expansion will be announced at a later point in time.

The Blood and Wine expansion is the more substantial of the two paid expansions. With a predicted play time of 20 hours, compared to the 10 hours predicted for the Hearts of Stone expansion. Blood and Wine will also see Geralt go to a new land, Toussaint. A land that is untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly rituals mask an ancient and bloody secret.

No further details have been announced.
