The Behemoth’s Pit People Available Now – Try It For Free

Pit People

The Behemoth – creator of Alien Hominid HD, Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theatre – is one of the most-respected indie developers around, with a unique style and a singular perspective. In Pit People, out on Xbox Game Preview this week, they’ve turned their talents towards turn-based strategy, with predictably anarchic results.

Pip People offers single player, two-player and four-player (two vs two) strategic action, testing your turn-based skills throughout a loot-filled adventure of exploration and battle.

“Master the destiny of a full cast of tragically unique heroes as you plot a course across an apocalyptic wonderland!

“Dogged at every step by a mysterious and power-hungry narrator (Will Stamper, “BattleBlock Theater”), you’ll need to rally your troops and steel your wits if you hope to survive a hostile world filled with sinister robots, deadly vampires and brutally adorable cupcake people!”

~ The Behemoth

Pit People is available from the Store, priced £11.99, but (as with all Game Preview titles) there’s a free trial available. If you’re a fan of The Behemoth‘s oeuvre, or love a turn-based strategy game, we definitely recommend you take a look.

We’ve been big fans of The Behemoth’s work for the last 15 years, ever since Alien Hominid was just a browser game we played when we should have been working. We’re hoping Pit People finds similar success.
