Dying Light Developer Confirms New Content

Dying Light developer Techland has announced continued support for the game in a new Facebook video. In the video, producer Tymon Smektala confirms that 500,000 people per week are still playing the game which originally launched three years ago.

As a way of thanking these fans for their loyal support, the studio plans to release 10 pieces of new content over the course of the next 12 months. In addition, a new content drop containing ‘new enemies’ will be available soon.

Best of all though, these updates will be available to ALL players across ALL platforms, for FREE. Given the monetisation of DLC and new content, it’s refreshing to see another developer taking this approach.

Are you still playing Dying Light? Would free content be enough to entice you back to it? Let us know in the comments below.
