Headup Games have been working on their next iteration of the clever physics based puzzler Bridge Constructor, this time teaming up with Valve’s Portal to combine the mechanics of both titles into a unique title – Bridge Constructor Portal.

It may not be the Portal sequel you were hoping for, but at least this adds a whole new depth to the existing gameplay of Bridge Constructor.

Here is the press release:

We welcome all lucky applicants to Bridge Constructor Portal with our new vehicle-based test chambers, Quantum Tunnels and patented Aperture technology!   For the last year we’ve been secretly working in our underground labs on the next iteration of the million-selling Bridge Constructor series. This new stand-alone title will release on PC, MacOS, Linux, mobile devices, and console, and fully embraces the Portal license, one of the most beloved video game franchises of the last decade.   Bridge Constructor Portal will blend the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience, all under the demanding gaze of GLaDOS.   Do you think we’re kidding? Here is undeniable scientific proof:

Bridge Constructor Portal is due to release sometime early next year on Xbox One. Stay tuned and we will fill you in on its release however, if you can’t wait it will be released on Windows this 20th December.

What do you think to this crossover title? More and more games these days tend to cross over their games, what other games would you like to see crossed-over? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
