If modern gaming has revealed anything, it’s that a game doesn’t need to be out before we start talking about the DLC. Dead Rising 4 appears to be no exception, with the Season Pass now available pre-order as part of the Deluxe Edition of the game. The list includes 3 DLC packs, though whether there’ll be more remains to be seen. The first, and seemingly least significant bit of DLC is the Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack, which includes a range of festive themed weapons, zombies, vehicles and costumes. The second pack is perhaps the strangest pack, known as Super Ultra … Read More »

If you ask any gamer out there, any real gamer, if they fancy killing some zombies then the answer is almost definitely a yes – possibly a HELL YEAH. So when we got the chance to try out such a game we jumped at the chance. It was time to fire up #killallzombies and make sure the dead stay dead. The aim of the game is obvious; you face relentless waves of crazed zombies that want nothing more than to give you a nibble or two (and not the loving kind of nibble either). You must survive each wave by shooting and … Read More »

Two minutes after booting up Dead Rising 1 for the first time in years, and the wave of nostalgia is flowing through me like the blood that courses through my veins. Before the pilot can even start his lines, I’m talking to my TV about Willamette, Colorado having a population of 53,594 and that the only thing to do in that town is kill time at the shopping mall. After about an hour, all the old tips and tricks are coming back. The hidden katana and uzi in the Paradise Plaza, the extra PP to be gained from destroying the plates … Read More »

Shopping’s a nightmare isn’t it? The crowds, the expense, the trawling from shop to shop, this is a true scene from hell and should send a shiver down any sane persons spine. Well things could always be worse. You could be Frank West for instance. On a photography trip to the mall he see’s that all hell has broken loose and there appears to be zombies everywhere. And there is definitely a crowd. Capcom have released a new trailer for Dead Rising 4 called Return To The Mall. In it we get to see when Frank starts to realise that … Read More »

Resident Evil 4 is like the Citizen Kane of games – it’ll always be near the top of those ‘Best Games Ever’ lists. We last played it on the GameCube 11 years ago, but after all this time, does the game deserve the praise it gets? So some backstory, for those not in the know. You play as Leon S. Kennedy – rookie cop star of Resident Evil 2, who not only survived Raccoon City’s zombie outbreak, but is also tragically afflicted with a centre parting and a bad case of the too-cool-for-school attitude that define Japanese gaming heroes. You … Read More »

Activision has announced it’s next DLC expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and it’s called Salvation.  Salvation will bring new multiplayer maps and a continuation of the origin zombies saga.  Mark Lamia, studio head of Treyarch, had this to say about the upcoming expansion: “Without a doubt, this is the most epic season of DLC that we’ve ever created for fans of Multiplayer and Zombies.  At this point it goes without saying, that Zombies has been a true labor of love for the studio and I’m proud to say that this will be a defining and epic experience … Read More »

The 80’s were brilliant weren’t they? The music, the fashion (well maybe not the fashion), the theme parks, the zombies, what was there not to love? At Gamescon Infinity Ward unveiled a new trailer for the zombies mode of its upcoming addition to the Call of Duty franchise, Infinite Warfare. Set in a 1980’s theme park called Spaceland, you get to play as a neon clad stereotype from that decade. They are all aspiring actors and when they think they are going to an audition they are transported into a zombie filled horror film, and they must deal with the … Read More »

Zombie Christmas is coming early this year, as you can now pre-download the Dead Rising Triple Pack so it’s ready to play come September 13th. The Triple Pack includes Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and its spin-off Off The Record, along with all the available costume DLC that accompanied each game. What’s interesting, however, is the absence of Dead Rising 2’s side stories: Case Zero and Case West. Capcom haven’t said why they haven’t been included, but it is worthy of note, especially considering how important they are to the overall story of the series. Yeah, it’s more than just … Read More »

Xbox One and PC gamers will be getting the third Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC on 11th August. Here’s what to expect when the ‘Descent’ DLC drops; players will receive the now-classic four map packs, which includes a remake map, and some zombie action. The multiplayer kicks off with… Rumble – A medium-sized map where players face off against mega-bots in a giant stadium. Cryogen – A small, circular, prison-based map where prisoners are kept on ice in a cryogenic state. Berserk – A medium-sized Viking village fit for plunder, if wasn’t for the blizzards and chokepoints. Empire … Read More »
