Phil Spencer recognises need for better Live services

When Xbox Live goes down your Xbox One becomes a lot less useful. Initially billed as the all-in-one games and entertainment system, both games and entertainment become largely inaccessible on the console when Xbox Live stops working. Sure, you can play game offline, but streaming from apps like Netflix are a no go – despite the Netflix service itself being fully operational on whichever other devices you use to watch.
