For all of you wrestling fans out there, 2K has released Patch 1.06 which fixes a lot of stability issues and some that directly affected the outcome of matches in the form of the character wouldn't do what you told them to do! Various moves have had their damage fine tuned, and stamina consumption tweaked so as to give a more true to life feel to it. Some moves couldn't be preformed as they were intended, or not at all in some cases, but this has also been fixed! Unfortunately (for some of us at least), they have also fixed ... Read More »

About 13 years ago two of the most amazing athletes of all time, Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg, locked up at Wrestlemania 20 and to be honest it wasn't the most amazing spectacle.  The match itself had many flaws especially with Lesnar almost breaking his own neck in a daring high flying stunt.  Luckily 2K is letting fans recreate that match with WWE 2K17.  These two will clash again for the first time in over a decade tonight as Survivor Series and 2K games has put together some hype showing off some gameplay and getting input from other WWE superstars ... Yesterday we finally got a look at the debut game-play trailer for WWE 2k17. From the below trailer you can see that this latest instalment from 2k is shaping up to be the best game in the series for a number of years and is surely going to be a 'Title' wrestling fans won't want to miss. https://youtu.be/qhDsN5BYx8s The trailers main focus is naturally the return of the much missed backstage brawl area. This is showcased by a vicious match up between returning superstar (and pre-order exclusive) Goldberg and the games cover star Brock Lesnar. The game-play trailer features a whole host of superstars. Including a brief appearance ... Read More »

At E3 this month three new members of the roster for this year's premium wrestling game, WWE 2k17, were announced. The trio of John Cena, Ultimate Warrior, and Sasha Banks were revealed in a less than conventional way. The two current stars, Cena & Banks, and the iconic late Ultimate Warrior have been immortalised in the form of a painting by artist Rob Schamberger.   Schamberger has previously created artwork for WWE that has helped raise money for charities. Most of his WWE commissioned works can be purchased in the form of prints and t-shirts from the official merchandise store of the multi-million dollar company. So ... Read More »
This one may go one of two ways for 2K Games and if I were a betting man I'd go for the latter. Some fans will love that Goldberg is in the game as he is a much-loved wrestler so they will buy the game anyway. Now for the latter as seen with Mortal Kombat before this and Goro as a pre-order bonus only people did not like it! The previous picks for pre-order bonuses weren't real wrestlers on the current gen so if you didn't get them it didn't matter too much because how many times are you realistically ... Read More »
So tonight is the big night, at Midnight WrestleMania 32 will kick off. Will The New Day flatten The League of Nations? Will Becky win her three way against Charlotte and Sasha? Will the Undertaker pull out his infamous Tombstone? And will you be watching? Or is the £19.95 price tag jus6t a little to steep for you? If that is the case then fear not the good people at the WWE Network and Xbox have the solution. In celebration of Wrestlemania, the biggest event in the WWE calendar Xbox have announced that you can sign up to the WWE ... Read More »
Wrestling is a bit silly, isn't it? Ridiculously over-the-top characters hitting each other with ridiculous, over-the-top moves. It's awesome! And nothing captured that attitude better than WWE All-Stars, which exaggerated each of the wrestler's key features to caricature levels. Hogan's 24 inch pythons become 24 foot anacondas, Andre the Giant had hands as big as Rey Mysterio and no special move was complete without at least 2 flips around the ring. So imagine my elation and immediate disappointment once WWE.com ran an article about the cancelled WWE Brawl, the third game in a strategy by the now defunct THQ to ... Read More »
