Blood and Wine will be the final expansion for the humongous (and critically very well received) Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with developer CD Projekt Red’s attention already on their next full game, Cyberpunk 2077. However, it looks as though Blood and Wine will not be our final chance to guide Geralt -or some other hero – on his slightly misogynistic path of adventure. Not if game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz has his way, that is. In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Tomaszkiewicz had this to say about the prospects of a return to the Witcher franchise: “Personally I hope that someday in the … Read More »

Yesterday, we posted some pictures and a few details of the upcoming Witcher 3 expansion, Blood and Wine (HERE). It’s not an uncommon occurrence that game details are “accidentally” posted on the web of everything and the Steam page and anything else “official” has been removed, but have no fear as nothing is sacred when it gets into the public’s iron grips! Below lists the details of what to expect in the release which, going by the social chatter out there, is set to arrive at the end of May or early June. Blood and Wine includes over 90 new quests … Read More »

According to the official Witcher Twitter account, Patch 1.12 is now live. The patch fixes a whole host of issues that were preventing Witcher 3: Wild Hunt quests progressing or completing properly, including the notorious bug that prevented the Wild Rose Dethorned achievement from popping. If you have cleared all those camps and still not grabbed the 35 Gamerscore, booting up the game after the patch is applied should solve this for you. So common was this bug that True Achievements gives Wild Rose Dethorned a TA Ratio of 3.94, meaning fewer than 1 in 5 players bagged the achievement. … Read More »

Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt has said that it would be unfair for the studio not to release a fourth game in the Witcher franchise, MCV reported in a recent article. While this years release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt may have been the the end of Geralt of Rivia’ story, the huge critical acclaim and commercial success that it has achieved means that it most certainly won’t be the end of the series. CD Projekt’s studio CEO Adam Kicinski said on Polish TV station TVN24 BiS “It’s too early to talk about it, but it’s not like we’re forgetting about this … Read More »

Myself, I now won’t see much light of day for the next 200 hours or so, as I go and right some wrongs and take some alternate paths! Enjoy NG+ and happy beast hunting! There is no immediate way to start a NG+, all you have … Read More »

CDProjektRED have been super busy since the launch of Witcher 3, with 15 free DLC packs handed out, and the 16th and final one (New Game Plus) coming soon. They haven’t however been too busy to keep supporting the game with various patches and fixes. Patch 1.08 is due any time soon and implements some much needed fixes for issues that 1.07 introduced (such as Geralt getting stuck in certain places and some quests becoming broken), players will also be getting a new free potion in their inventories, named “The Wolven Hour”, this potion reduces the level requirements on equipment … Read More »

Following on from the news yesterday regarding the New Game Plus mode coming to Witcher 3 soon as the final DLC, more details have emerged today regarding what will and won’t carry over. New players starting a NG+ with a character lower than level 30 will be bumped up to that level (those with higher than 30 will keep their level), you will also be able to reselect your games difficulty option. As for items, everything apart from the following will carry over; Quest Items Books Letters Usable items Trophies Gwent Cards In my opinion all of that makes sense, … Read More »

As mentioned in my post HERE, The Witcher 3’s Final DLC was due any time now, and it has finally been revealed by CD Projekt RED, no date as of yet, as this DLC is a big one. New Game Plus. The community wanted it, CD Projekt RED said it might be possible, but they weren’t sure when it would happen (SEE HERE), well it seems the sneaky Dev’s have been working on it all along and it will be the final Free DLC to come out. Hurrah proclaimed the gamers. Already finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt multiple times? … Read More »
