For those looking to take advantage of cross play compatibility between PC and and Xbox One for ARK: Survival Evolved will have to wait a little while longer.  While it was originally set for December, we will have till 2017.  Luckily it’s going to be January 2017.  Developer Studio Wildcard lead developer Jeremy Stieglitz explained that it “requires reformatting ARK’s application handling to work with Universal Windows Platform.”  So look to have Play Anywhere capability next month. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has spoken out about his thoughts and Microsoft’s VR plans in a recent interview. And it appears that they are be no rush to bring the format to Scorpio or Windows 10. Asked where VR currently sits on the agenda for Microsoft, Spencer appears to not be convinced just yet. According to a forum post by The Coalition, a small Xbox One title update will iron out the ‘hitching’ issues some players have experienced in the early part of Gears of War 4  multi-player matches. Hitching is a short period of extreme lag, and this small (218MB) update should solve the problem for Xbox One users. A Title Update will be available for Gears of War 4 today.
