Ubisoft announced yesterday that Austin Wintory, perhaps best known for his work on the PlayStation-exclusive Journey,  is to be the composer for the latest Assassin's Creed instalment, Assassin's Creed Syndicate. There's an interview with him on UbiBlog that provides insight into how he's gone about composing the score. By focusing on the main protagonists, Evie and Jacob, as well as the "fascinating, contradictory world of Victorian London", Wintory's found inspiration that doesn't solely draw from the musical styles of the 19th century in an attempt to immerse players in atmosphere.
