Today Battlefield 1 has gotten a big update and with it has come some big new things. There ae the usual additions of new dog tags and gameplay settings but there is something new that players will find incredibly beneficial. You will now be able to browse servers in Operations mode. Microsoft have declared its plans to upgrade the Xbox One's inbuilt video game capture. The update will be viable in the new console update which will feature this Autumn. In addition to any improvements Microsoft have made, an increase in the recording resolution from 720p to 1080p will be seen. Support for external hard drives will also be upgraded, meaning that game captures can now save directly onto the device. A new update for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been launched today and although it is been touted as a small update it still comes in at around 1gb in size. This update contains nothing major but fixes quite a few bugs that have been irking players for a while now. The patch notes include the following: Veteran ranks of characters will only drop after all characters of that rarity have been unlocked to rank 10. As promised by Square Enix, today sees the next in regular updates since launch, and with it brings some new content, bug fixes and the return of a popular carnival. Overwatch's lead designer Jeff Kaplan has recently released a video, outlining some upcoming changes to the game, one in particular being a fan-requested feature. The lootbox system is getting a big change. They're going to be reducing the amount of duplicates you see from opening a lootbox, paving way to content you've yet to unlock. The developers hope that by reducing duplicates, they'll keep players returning for more. Another key change to the game is the ability to view your highlights for 24 hours. An update for the Xbox One and Windows 10 has rolled out during this past week, adding some useful new features to our favourite console.
