If you’ve bought heavily into the Windows 10 ecosystem, this latest change might give you brief pause. Xbox One consoles now count towards your Windows 10 device limit. You can install any Apps or Games you purchase from the Windows 10 store on up to 10 devices – and with the availability of Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps on Xbox One, that device limit will now include your Xbox One console. This might be a problem for some – in fact I thought I would be close to the limit, with one Windows 10 desktop PC, three Windows 10 laptops, … Read More »

ROBLOX is a fantastic game – a construction set that allows you to create almost any game you can think of. More than that, it operates in a curated space that lets you share your creations with friends and the wider Xbox community. It sounds great, doesn’t it? Well, we’re sure our American friends are enjoying it fully – but it’s not officially available in the UK yet. However, by following a few simple steps you can download this free to play title in the UK and get creating straight away! Here’s all you need to do: From the top … Read More »

Last week, During The Division Beta we learnt that there were a couple of settings in-game that allowed us to alter the Sharpness & Chromatic Aberration. Now it has been announced that we will also be able to change the lighting settings to improve frame rate on Xbox. However, whilst being able to alter your graphics sounds like a great idea, I am a little bit confused. Xbox One’s are all the same, you can’t alter them like with PC’s so why are the graphics not set to their best automatically? Also the new option to lower your lighting settings … Read More »

You can now get WhatsApp on your Xbox One! Thanks to a recent update to Microsoft Edge you can now use WhatsApp Web. It even works snapped! I know what your thinking, you didn’t even know there was a web version of WhatsApp (well neither did I but I’m pretending I did) but it really does exist! This is really useful, if like me, you are incredibly lazy and say left your phone upstairs but desperately need to WhatsApp your mate about that awesome kill streak you just got in Black Ops III or that Justin Bieber song you just … Read More »

During Xbox’s E3 2015 Briefing they announced the Xbox Elite Controller which is expected to have a release date of October 27th. There was a great response from fans about this new customisable controller and some pre-ordered it as soon as they could. However you might have a problem if you pre-ordered it from Amazon at a lower price than the rest of the online retailers. Amazon listed the Xbox Elite Controller with an incorrect price on their site. The incorrect price on Amazon was £75, a bargain for most fans after seeing the actual price of £119 on other … Read More »

MotoGP 15 Review So, I was a little excited about this release and, to be fair, MotoGP 15 was everything that I was expecting! Right from the start of the game the intro was mind Blowing! It really sets you up for the challenge ahead. Back in the good old days when the original Xbox was still in its honeymoon stages, THQ released MotoGP 2, one of the greatest MotoGP games, I believe. It had the masses competing at the highest level and I was lucky to be playing MotoGP back then. With that in mind, I was really hoping … Read More »

I love my bike! My bike probably doesn’t love me though. It’s not a very good bike (in fact it was the cheapest brand new option I found five years ago), but it is mine, and that’s important. Many bike owners constantly tinker with their rides in order to get the best performance, durability or even style when out and about on two wheels. Unfortunately, the treatment Rustbucket gets falls well below an acceptable standard. The only work performed is when it falls into disrepair. Even then, it’s only in order to make sure it works just well enough and … Read More »

Bandland Review Badland could be described as a physics based sidescroller, but I find that it doesn’t really fit neatly into any one genre. At times is feels like an endless runner, but at others it’s almost a platformer. What it comes down to is that you move your little animal by flapping its equally tiny wings and drift up into the air. That’s the extent of the controls in Badland. The longer you press, the higher the fluffball bird will fly and the farther to the right it will go. Simple! The first few levels are easy. You’ll get … Read More »

Mega Coin Squad Review Couch based Indi Games have been falling away in recent years but, with the rise of developers who are keen to see it make a massive comeback, more and more devs seem to be remembering that indi games are really what started of the whole gaming experience. This resurgence is most definitely occurring on the Xbox One and Mega Coin Squad is the latest title out at the moment.  Indeed, Big Pixel Studios have crafted a single player mode that is fun to play, rather than being an afterthought. As you’d expect, the Mega Coin Squad … Read More »
