Although it’s not due to drop until 7th March 2017, Ubisoft have been slowly drip-feeding us information about the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands – and today we got a chance to see a demo of a stealth takedown mission in the campaign’s story mode. You can check out the walkthrough demo right here: It’s the same mission as featured at E3, although rather than a hail of bullets, this time we’ll see how the quest can be completed rather more quietly. Ubisoft have a plan, see, to offer you ‘total freedom of choice’ as you takedown the Santa … Read More »

Recently at EGX Ubisoft were exhibiting the next South Park title, the delightfully named The Fractured But Whole. While the game may have one of, if not, the most adolescently crude titles in recent video game history that shouldn’t detract from the games substance. Much like its predecessor it’s evident, even from the small amount of gameplay that you’re privy to during the demo, that the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, had a lot of involvement in the games story line. The jokes and actions of the characters are all distinctly South Park-esque. While I could spoil story … Read More »

Until this year the Assassin’s Creed franchise got a yearly release, the games came around just like Christmas. Earlier this year Ubisoft said that they were going to take a year off to work on revamping the franchise. This was probably in some part down to the disappointment that was 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot has now come out and said that we probably won’t see another Assassin’s Creed game until 2018. He says that the publisher see’s the current time as “an opportunity to take [the series] to another level.” Ubisoft are in the … Read More »

It appears that Ubisoft are doubling down on fixing The Division before they release the DLC, as during a State of the Game address during some scheduled server maintenance revealed Ubisoft’s plans going forward. The main talking point was the changes coming to Update 1.4, which includes better loot drops, making higher level enemies harder to kill, and other “quality of life” changes like weapon skins not taking up inventory slots. The news of higher level enemies going down easier is music to many an agents ears. Some of those guys just refused to die… Ubisoft are also look for … Read More »
