It’s safe to say The Division has undergone some dramatic changes since its launch, mainly down to player feedback and the community. Recently fans of The Division have been getting a little surprise in their inboxes. Ubisoft has been sending players a survey to gauge their reactions to certain aspects of the game, especially the new DLC pack, Survival. The survey starts out asking some standard questions about how you spend your time in the game. There was also a few questions regarding the game that the developer sees as its biggest competitor, Destiny, which is interesting. The questions seem to be trying to find out how players would like the game to developer in the future, so maybe Ubisoft will be … Read More »

That Watch Dogs 2 got made at all still raises an eyebrow. That it’s such a great game – overcoming all its predecessor’s many flaws – is even more surprising. But we can’t help wonder if the incredible hype and subsequent disappointment of the first game has hurt sales of the sequel. After all, once bitten, twice shy. What better way, then, to tempt doubters back to the franchise than by offering a free trial? Ubisoft agrees, it seems. According to the official Ubisoft blog, a free three-hour trial of the full game will be available for download starting 24th January 2017. … Read More »

After Ubisoft’s recent release of the Assassin’s Creed movie, it seems like they have an itch for live action movies as we’re treated to another live action trailer today for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, but this time it’s a trailer for…well… a live action movie, based upon the upcoming game. They’ve even designed a sweet movie poster for it too… War within the Cartel is the subtitle of the movie and has a big name behind it. Roberto Orci (the modern Star Trek movies and the upcoming The Mummy reboot) produces the 30-minute short; which is a promotional movie … Read More »

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Siege, the claustrophobic team shooter from Ubisoft, gets a new update today. Update 5.3 consists mainly of bug fixes. In fact, there’s only one new feature – in custom lobbies, the host can pause the operator selection timer, useful when all you’re doing is arguing who accidentally grenaded whom in the previous round. Wait, that’s not how everyone plays? Pausing the timer is accomplished by pressing Up on the D-pad; a second press restarts it. The full patch notes are available on the R6 Forum, and bug fixes include players no longer keeping their shields equipped when … Read More »

Ubisoft have released a tweet today containing some small details regarding the upcoming beta for the next Tom Clancy game: Ghost Recon Wildlands. Ghost recon has come along way from it’s early days on Xbox 360, with this title being ‘penned’ as the best in the series to date with a massively open world where you and several team mates can explore the wildlands, taking down criminals and fighting against other troops. Ubisoft have also released a live action trailer to go along with the recently announced beta registration involving a cat and a red dot. Everybody loves a good cat video, … Read More »

We imagine there’s little to beat climbing a mountain in the Alps, turning around and looking in awe at the vista before you. Well, nothing except throwing yourself off that mountain, opening your wingsuit and soaring over the tree tops and through the valleys and ravines below. And that’s STEEP; soar, ski, parachute and snowboard your way through an astonishing snow-filled open world. Set in the snowy mountains of the Alps and the Pyrenees, Ubsioft hopes to breathe some much-needed life into the extreme sports genre, and capitalise on the absence of white powder and laminated boards since 2012’s SSX. With STEEP, Ubisoft … Read More »
