ostly, we know what we’ll get with Games with Gold. That game we almost bought two years ago. An indie title we liked the look of. An obscure Xbox 360 game we’ve never heard of. Don’t get us wrong. We love Games with Gold. It’s tremendous value-add for our Xbox Live Gold subscriptions and has introduced us to some games we might never have considered. From time to time, though, MajorNelson surprises us with the announcement – most recently when Banner Saga 2 was leaked as a Games with Gold title from launch. War. War never changes. That’s even true when you’re talking about Risk: Urban Assault. It may look very different to the board game it’s based upon, with its Modern Warfare-esque twist. There might be a timer to keep things from stalling completely, but even so they still offer a different gaming experience. Here are five of the best. Child of Light | Ubisoft Montreal An early title for Xbox One, Ubisoft Montreal’s Child of Light launched in April 2014. This surprising gentle, dream-like fairy-tale takes … Read More »
