After weeks upon weeks of various rumors and one random basketball based tease, Activision and Treyarch have finally announced Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is releasing this October. Nothing else was revealed other than a forty second promo featuring gameplay from all previous Black Ops installments and that Treyarch will reveal more on May 17.     It’s going to be an interesting October as dropping the same month is Red Dead Redemption 2. Since the launch of the backwards compatibility program in 2015 the most requested game by players has been Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Recently the head of Xbox Phil Spencer has been talking about the possibility of Black Ops 2 coming to the program. Recently, Treyarch posted a livestream on facebook discussing it’s plans for Black Ops 3. Yes, that’s right, plans for Black Ops 3, which was released back in November 2015. It’s no surprise that Infinite Warfare has been poorly received and sales have fallen dramatically behind that of Black Ops 3; which Activision claim to be the best selling Call of Duty title on current generation consoles.
