Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands has a new DLC pack ready to hit the stores on June 6th (May 30th for season pass holders). The DLC expansion, titled Fallen Ghosts, is the second pack to be released for the game, and it follows the first expansion pack, Narco Road. The expansion pack will include 15 new missions, six exclusive weapons (which incorporate new assault rifles, sniper rifles and a crossbow that features arrows that explode), and four new bosses. The DLC sees the Ghosts surviving a helicopter crash within the depths of the jungle, and being stranded as a consequence ... Read More »
Ubisoft have today released a new trailer for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands first expansion DLC. If you're a season pass holder, you can download Narco Road today. Otherwise it will be on general release next Tuesday, April 25th. Narco Road offers 'new targets, new vehicles, and a new approach to taking down the cartel.' You'll be tasked with taking down a smuggling ring led by the elusive El Invisible. There's three gangs to take down as you aim to 'earn respect' of each of the three new bosses. There will also be more than fifteen fresh campaign missions to get stuck into, ... Read More »
Open world games are as common now as the 3D platformer was in the late 90’s. It’s become almost the standard model with certain titles setting the benchmark on how to achieve success within your sandbox surroundings. And for the first time, Ubisoft have brought the Ghost Recon series in to possibly one of the most vast, open spaces you can currently experience. But creating a free roaming area does not automatically mean a game will be a success. It’s the story, tools you are equipped with and opportunities that present themselves which ultimately pave the way for a standout title. ... Read More »
It's very common to offer gamers a season pass.  It's an easy way to invest in the future of a game and ensure there isn't any possible way you will miss out on content.  Ubisoft has come out and revealed what to expect in the season pass for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands. The season pass will feature two major expansions as well as a special mission and many character boosting products.  Although there hasn't been any information on how much we can expect it to cost us, here are the details of the season pass as a whole: One ... We don't know about you but everyone here at Xbox One UK is excited to see how well the Ghost Recon: Wildlands closed beta plays when it becomes available to a lucky few Xbox One owners tomorrow. While clearly happy to use the murky subject matter as a source of entertainment, Ubisoft also appear keen to remind us that while taking on the global drugs trade and South American drugs cartels in a virtual world can be a lot of fun, there is a far darker real life war that the game takes inspiration from. "Wildlands" is a documentary commissioned by ... Read More »
Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Siege, the claustrophobic team shooter from Ubisoft, gets a new update today. Update 5.3 consists mainly of bug fixes. In fact, there's only one new feature - in custom lobbies, the host can pause the operator selection timer, useful when all you're doing is arguing who accidentally grenaded whom in the previous round. Wait, that's not how everyone plays? Pausing the timer is accomplished by pressing Up on the D-pad; a second press restarts it. The full patch notes are available on the R6 Forum, and bug fixes include players no longer keeping their shields equipped when ... Read More »
Anyone who has played Tom Clancy's The Division from the start will know it's been a heck of a roller coaster ride through periods of unbalanced gameplay and glitches - insert Ubisoft jokes here.  The core mechanics of the game itself are some of the most fun I've had in a game.  I did however take a long break during version 1.3 until update 1.4 came out. For those unfamiliar with the lifespan of The Division, when the game was updated to version 1.3 rewards were not progressive to help players move on to the next harder difficulty or challenge. ... Ubisoft have announced that an open beta for the next installment in the Tom Clancy Franchise, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is coming soon. Speaking at an annual earnings call, CEO for Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot stated that the beta would be available from the 'next quarter'. Ubisoft did not make clear however what they specifically meant by this. But it can be largely expected to be their financial quarters. Currently the publisher is in it's October to December phase, meaning we should probably expect the beta to be available in the early part of 2017. Ghost Recon Wildlands itself is scheduled to arrive on ... Read More »
In Massive's developer blog, there have been some changes done in the upcoming patch 1.4 to better scale difficulty and time to kill issues with the current build of Tom Clancy's: The Division.  Since the patch is still in development - things may still change.  You can see the changes down below: Recap of gear changes: All gear in World Tier 2 and higher will have all three base stats – Firearms, Stamina, Electronics – on them, one of these stats will be higher than the others. Other bonuses, like crit chance and headshot damage, will be scaled down to ... Read More »
