Before you ask, no, Mr. Shifty isn't about that guy lurking around the corner of a secluded street nor is it a nickname given to a secondary school teacher. It's in fact the title of the character you play, who so happens to have forgotten how to use his legs at all and decides to teleport everywhere. And I mean everywhere...which in theory, isn't necessarily a bad idea for a title such as this. But is it worthwhile? Granted, some of us are hoping for some form of solo Nightcrawler game - he is quite an underrated superhero with amazing ... Read More »
You might be disappointed to learn that Punch Club isn't about a group of really enthusiastic fruit juice connoisseurs. No, it's actually about the less popular activity of men pursuing the pleasures of pugilism. After witnessing the brutal murder of your father, you embark on the path of the warrior to avenge your father’s death, become a vigilante, beat up ninja crocodiles in a sewer, be a champion and maybe even learn a thing or two about love. Punch Club is a difficult game to pin down. It's a game about fighting where you don't actually fight. Instead, you manage ... Read More »
Puns are trucking great, right? That's especially true when the pun is as accurate as ClusterTruck, as that's the only way to describe the gameplay that it brings to the table. Pitched as a “first person, physics based platformer”, you jump from truck to truck avoiding the metaphorical and occasionally literal lava floor in order to make it to the goal. Simple enough, until the trucks start misbehaving. The physics on offer means that no two levels play out the same way twice. Your first run might see a certain truck crash and burn on the highway, but the second ... Read More »

On your marks, Get set, Run like the clappers Here's an age old question we have all come across as some point, "I bet I am quicker than you" or "I can beat you in a race" (you're more than welcome to nod in agreement). Now we can have that race in a digital form thanks to the awesome 'SpeedRunners', the aim is simple - make your opponents eat your dust. 'SpeedRunners' gives us the fun of running laps around a track with the goal of getting so far ahead of your rival racers that they perish by falling off ... Read More »
We've all seen Back To The Future and we all know the apparent risks involved in time travel but tinyBuild just don't care. Four years ago they set out to make the most ridiculous time travelling platform game that they could. This would have to involve chasing your future self through time and alternate realities, while all the time fighting giant monsters, collecting hats and eating as much cake as possible (obviously). The main features of this madness will include: Several hours of absurd storyline! Ribs in eyes! Up to four player local multiplayer! Tons of characters! Dozens of hidden ... Read More »
