Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been in closed beta since before Christmas, but now it looks as though it's official release is getting closer now that it's opening the doors to everyone. Come May 24th, Gwent will become an open beta for Xbox One and other platforms. Any progress accumulated over the course of the closed beta will be reset, and will not be carried over, giving new players a fair chance. Earlier today The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt appeared on the German are-ratings board USK with a new classification - Game of the Year Edition. Ok so nobody panic but it looks like the Blood and Wine Expansion, due out one the 31st of May, could be the end of The Witcher as we know it. That certainly would seem to be the case if you were to listen to Marcin Iwinski. The CD Projekt Red co-founder said the studio doesn't have any plans for The Witcher after the Blood and Wine expansion hits at the end of the month.
