Tom Clancy’s The Division – Free To Play This Weekend

Today, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s The Division kicks off a free weekend, May 4th until May 8th, this free play weekend commences at 8am GMT today (4th May) and runs right through until 8am Monday (8th May). All progress from the free weekend will carry over to the full game if players purchase it. The current free trial offer, which gives players full access to the main game until they reach level 8 or complete six hours of playtime, will be on hiatus during the free weekend but reinstated once the free weekend promotion ends. The Division Gets Huge PTS Patch Update

The Division’s public test server is about to receive a massive update by Ubisoft. Quality update 1.6.1 sees an abundance of tweaks to the system including loadouts. You’ll not be able to swap and quicksave not only your weapons but also gear, talents and skills in bid to offer a faster more streamlined experience. The Division’s Year 2 Content Will Be Free

Here’s some news that might either call you back to the post-outbreak New York of The Division, or even tempt in some new players: all additional expansion content for Year 2 will be free! Announced yesterday as part of Massive Entertainment’s live-stream, creative director Julian Gerighty said that there will be no season pass for the upcoming year, and even dropped a few hints for what players can expect. The Division’s 1.6 Patch and Last Stand DLC Release Date Confirmed

During Massive’s most recent “State of the Game” stream, it was announced that the newest content for Tom Clancy’s The Division will be released on 28 February 2017.  There will be a 3 hour maintenance period as the patch is launched. This update contains the “Last Stand” DLC which is a new PvP game mode that is similar to Call of Duty’s Domination game mode where teams of 6 fights to capture objective points on the map.  This DLC also contains the next incursion “Lost Signal.”  This is the last DLC for year 1 and season pass holders.
