If you are a fan of survival based, Minecraft style games then we have great news for you; 505 Games and Klei entertainment have announced that we can expect to see a Don't Starve Mega Pack for the Xbox One hitting shelves and available to download in Q2 of this year. Don't Starve sees you taking on the role of Wilson, (name inspired by Cast Away perhaps?) a scientist who starts with nothing and must use what he can find in his immediate surroundings to help him to get back home. This makes it sound easier than it is as ... Read More »
Recently fans of The Division have been getting a little surprise in their inboxes. Ubisoft has been sending players a survey to gauge their reactions to certain aspects of the game, especially the new DLC pack, Survival. The survey starts out asking some standard questions about how you spend your time in the game. There was also a few questions regarding the game that the developer sees as its biggest competitor, Destiny, which is interesting. The questions seem to be trying to find out how players would like the game to developer in the future, so maybe Ubisoft will be ... Read More »
Conan is a symbolic figure in a near prehistoric world where only might can help you survive.  The cunning of a building a base and fortifying it with everything to survive is just as key as the might you wield.  Funcom's Conan Exiles is looking to bring that world to life and is really starting to show some promise. In the style of Ark: Survival Evolved you will need to survive by gathering food and supplies while building a fortress worthy of the finest warriors.  This in depth building mechanic will immerse you into a world unlike any other and ... We have to be honest and upfront here; when Chris was told he needs to review a game that involves killer dolls, clowns and a scary girl he was a little apprehensive to say the least. His inner hero told him to man up and play (while the rest of us hid behind the couch) ; it's only a game, after all, and what's the worst that could happen? Well, how about sleepness nights, jumping at the slightest noises and not going into his own children's bedrooms in case their dolls attacked him, is what happened. Thanks, inner hero. Emily Wants To Play, ... Read More »
Anyone who has played Tom Clancy's The Division from the start will know it's been a heck of a roller coaster ride through periods of unbalanced gameplay and glitches - insert Ubisoft jokes here.  The core mechanics of the game itself are some of the most fun I've had in a game.  I did however take a long break during version 1.3 until update 1.4 came out. For those unfamiliar with the lifespan of The Division, when the game was updated to version 1.3 rewards were not progressive to help players move on to the next harder difficulty or challenge. ... Today Massive has announced that players will be getting more Stash size in Tom Clancy's The Division.  How much more you ask?  Try more than double and it will come in update 1.5.  Currently agents have 70 spots in their stash for weapons and gear but that will be increased to 150 when the new update is released along with the new Survival game mode.  With as much gear that's available in The Division with update 1.4's increased drop rates, players have been acquiring a ton of loot that an increase to Stash space was something requested by a lot of players.  Also, ... Ever since the overhaul of update 1.4 to The Division, agents are picking their guns up and fighting for New York City once again.  Now, Massive had a "Special Report" stream to show off the next installment known as Survival.  Survival in a whole is a 24-man survival test where you use the entire open world map as a ground to extract some antiviral samples for the Green Poison.  Here are some of the in depth details we know so far: Survival uses the current map of New York City with Blizzard like conditions - a la Destiny: Rise of ... Imagine a world 40 years in the future, as we begin to colonise distant planets. We Happy Few is the quirky survival game from Compulsion games, and since its release it has provoked both good and bad reactions, which is to be expected of a game still in its preview state. With preview games, the longer they are out the better they seem to get - so long as developers keep working on the game.
