Square Enix is getting ready to launch its first major DLC for Final Fantasy XV in the form of Episode Gladiolus.  More details about the DLC drop were given at PAX East this past weekend with a new trailer to go with it. This DLC will have Gladiolus go through his very own mission, joined by Leonis.  The two will take on new enemies and bosses with new weapons and skills at their disposal.  Everything you acquire in the DLC will be able to carry through into the main game. The DLC launches on 28 March 2017 and costs £19.99.  You can ... Read More »
In a recent interview with Polygon, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata shared some more info about what to expect when it comes to multiplayer and how it will take place within the game's main story. "There are a lot of things I can't really say about the multiplayer future just yet, but it will tie into the game, the main game, at some point in the story. And for the multiplayer feature, we are less focused on playing as the four main characters but rather as an avatar that the user creates themselves. So rather than having you and ... Read More »

Here's some unexpected but fantastic news: Square Enix have announced a partnership with the comic book and movie publishing Juggernaut (geddit?) to create multiple games, starting with an Avengers game. In a new teaser trailer, we can see the iconic items associated with each member of the Avengers: Banner's glasses, Iron Man's armour, Thor's Hammer and Captain America's shield. Unfortunately, the items are looking a little bit worse for wear, and the Avengers themselves are conspicuous by their absence. The woman doing the voiceover continues the glum outlook, stating that the "time of heroes is over", but we just need ... Read More »
Final Fantasy XV is well on it's way to the ten million sales target set by director Hajima Tabata. After reports that the long awaited installment in the Final Fantasy series shipped over five million at launch, that tally has now surpassed six million copies. In a press release, it was confirmed that this includes digital sales alongside physical copies. But this does not mean that the amounts given have been sold to consumers, but that they have sold to retailers. Tabata stated that the game would need to sell ten million copies to be a 'success'. However this comment ... Read More »
