Microsoft have declared its plans to upgrade the Xbox One's inbuilt video game capture. The update will be viable in the new console update which will feature this Autumn. In addition to any improvements Microsoft have made, an increase in the recording resolution from 720p to 1080p will be seen. Support for external hard drives will also be upgraded, meaning that game captures can now save directly onto the device. So it appears Respawn Entertainment is doing everything to keep Titanfall 2 running on current generation consoles they can to keep gameplay as fast and smooth as possible.  The tech test from the previous weekend allowed us to see the game running at it's native resolution, which appears to be 720p on Xbox One.  This is actually a slight downgrade from the original Titanfall as it ran at 792p.  Does this mean Respawn Entertainment downgraded the quality for Titanfall 2?  Not at all! After days of speculation, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has confirmed that Microsoft won’t force game developers to output 4K resolution games on their Project Scorpio console.
