It's been a long long time since any DLC release or even a shred of news for one of this years greatest games, Resident Evil VII. However, there is now a firm release date for the 'Not a Hero' DLC which was initially scheduled to launch this past Spring, and stars Resident Evil veteran Chris Redfield. The expansion, which first introduced its existence within the games ending credits is due to launch in japan on December 14th. There is no firm release for the west as of yet but we would expect it to be soon after. This may seem ... Read More »

Tuesday 29th August Pillars of Eternity Pillars started as a Kickstarter project, where it shattered all funding goals and pulled in more than 75,000 backers. Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition includes all previously released additional content from the PC version, including all DLC and expansions in a single package. Killing Floor 2 In Killing Floor 2 players descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment ... Read More »

The Resident Evil franchise has been riding very high indeed recently. The launch of Resident Evil 7: Biohazrad was a resounding success and the game went on to be loved by both critics and fans alike. On the back of this we could well be getting a remastered version of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Another one. Code Veronica was already remastered for the Xbox 360 but now it looks like maybe the Xbox One will be getting its turn as well. A listing has appeared on the German video games ratings board (USK) for Resident Evil: Code Veronica for the ... Read More »
Remember back in 2015 when Capcom announced that there will be a current gen remake of Resident Evil 2?  Well, we are about to hit 2017 and Resident Evil 7 is set to release next month and we know nothing new about the classic remake.  Capcom and RE2: Remake's producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi may have tipped his hand a bit on when we will see something of the upcoming remake. In an interview with VideoGamer, Hirabayashi spoke about the experiences he learned from the previous games and how Capcom is focused on RE7 while his team is working on the remake of RE2. ... Fresh off the back of the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, the Japanese publisher has confirmed that this is just the beginning. It’s been five years since the last MvC game – and, we presume, it won’t be the last (superheroes are totes hot right now), but in a press release announcing their latest fighter, Capcom also hinted at their future plans, stating that: In addition to regular major title releases each fiscal year, Capcom is currently focused on reviving series that have not had new entries recently, or otherwise dormant IP. Beginning with MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE, a return ... Read More »
While PlayStation gamers have already had a chance to play Resident Evil 7’s ‘Beginning Hour’ demo back in June, PC and Xbox gamers will have their chance later this month. The demo itself has already received two updates, with ‘Twilight’ providing more areas to explore, and ‘Midnight’ expanding rooms, weapons, enemies and endings. According to Capcom, the ‘Midnight’ update will finally allow gamers to ‘explore what lies beyond the mold-covered door, where terrifying growling noises emanate from.’ Xboxers will be the first to trial the new Resident Evil game when the demo drops on December 9th. Meanwhile, players on PC ... Read More »
Japanese video game site Dengeki announced that Xbox and PC players of the upcoming Resident Evil 7 (Biohazard 7 in Japan) will be able to transfers their save-games between Xbox One and PC - fuelling speculation that the Capcom title could be one of the first third-party titles to adopt the Xbox Play Anywhere approach. Play Anywhere - which sees seamless integration of Xbox and PC titles, including at the purchasing stage where buying one version of the game nets you the other as well, absolutely free - has until now been available only on Microsoft Studios-published titles, where it's the new ... Are you getting chills yet? Capcom certainly hope so, with their drip-feed of Resident Evil 7 teasers and trailers. And they’ve just released teaser vol. 2, ‘Shotgun in a Box’. This time, it’s focused on weapons and ammunition – or more accurately, the lack of them. There’s a damn good reason why the video’s single description reads: ‘Save your ammo… You’ll need it.’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tIC7vd_lPY The game’s graphics look absolutely gorgeous, consider it’s a horrifically dingy room we’re in. But perhaps more importantly for old-school fans, it’s nice to see the return of the traditional inventory box – along with the ... Read More »
