Supply drops have been a touchy subject over the past couple years for Call of Duty players.  While most offer cosmetic only items, it was also the only source to obtain new weapons.  This was basically a pay to win mechanic that heavily relied on RNG to actually get what you want.  Well, now the remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has supply drops. The supply drops in MW Remastered work the same as in other CoD games.  You can earn depot credits through challenges and gameplay and spend those on supply drops.  The option is the familiar … Read More »

You gotta love the skills some people have when it comes to data mining.  It appears that YouTuber SamuelTDope has found that the FN FAL which is a weapon from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is in the game files on Modern Warfare: Remastered and it is a complete and functioning weapon.  The weapon is of course locked away from access but has everything needed to make it usable.  This has lead people to believe that downloadable weapons from other Modern Warfare games may be coming to Modern Warfare: Remastered.  This though is a weapon already in game and … Read More »

It seems as though the launch date grows closer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, more ‘tidbits’ of information are getting revealed for the futuristic space-shooter, but it’s not this title that fans want to know more about, it’s the remaster of another popular Call of Duty title. Amos Hodge, the Lead Designer at Raven Software; who are responsible for the Modern Warfare Remaster, has tweeted that there will be a total of 20 Prestige Levels for you to complete once it launches on 4th November. That’s double the amount the original had. He then explains that the first 10 prestige emblems … Read More »

We all know how the Call of Duty franchise works.  November comes around and one of the now three developers puts out the latest Call of Duty game.  We see many different variations of the game sold, bundled with knick knacks and other cool toys that appeal to the most hardcore of fans.  They are great side items and usually accent a part of the new main game.  But what if the gamers would rather just have the add on instead of the actual game? One of our editors, Brian, spoke yesterday about how Activision is bundling its next game … Read More »

It’s Monday morning, it’s the first Monday in October and you have chosen to stop by here – for that I am eternally grateful to each and every single one of you. I have to say we have been rather spoilt lately with all these AAA titles and Indie gems that have been released as of late, long may it continue if I’m honest. Fancy checking out this weeks lineup of titles to see if this trend continues, I thought you might. Time to arm yourself with a coffee and a comfy seat, the hype train is ready to go-go-go. … Read More »

Whilst we might moan and complain that the only way to get our hands on the remastered version of the best Call of Duty ever – Modern Warfare – for Xbox One is to pay for the legacy edition of COD: Infinite Warfare, we’re actually secretly excited about reliving past glories in shiny new-generation visuals. Even more so, now that it’s been confirmed – during Activision’s Call of Duty XP event at PAX West – that the ten maps with which the game ships will be joined by the remaining six as free DLC in December. And our excitement is only heightened by the … Read More »

It’s been a strange old day for Capcom and its other zombie series, Dead Rising. First, the Dead Rising 4 achievement/trophy list was leaked – and now the studio has confirmed what we all thought was probably true, but no-one dared to admit. According to games website Videogamer, a Capcom representative has announced that the original Dead Rising games, excluding Xbox One exclusive Dead Rising 3, will be making their way to current gen consoles and PC. Capcom’s rep told Videogamer that… Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In addition, Dead Rising 2 and … Read More »

It’s not often that a company associates itself with multiple big-money franchises, but one such company is Japanese developer Capcom. Their list of credits include Dead Rising, Lost Planet and of course the omnipotent Street Fighter. We could argued that the title of “Capcom’s most famous series” has slowly been wrested from Street Fighter by a franchise nine years its junior. That franchise is, of course, Resident Evil, which first saw the light of day (or darkness of Racoon City) way back in 1996, the original zombie survival horror which caused a whole new generation of gamers to keep a collection … Read More »

Looks like one of the greatest game series will be coming to Xbox One very soon, according to a South African retailer we’ll all be getting our hands on the Bioshock series again! South African outlet Raru.co.za has listed The Bioshock Collection for the next-gen console and has attached a November 27th release date to the supposed bundle. This release date may or may not be true, however. Whether this turns out to be true or not remains to be seen, but this retailer does have a history for leaking things ahead of time, so we’re just going to assume this … Read More »
