Today, Wizard Fu has announced that Songbringer will be released on Xbox One on 1st September 2017. The game (described as a "procedural action RPG") was funded on Kickstarter back in May 2015, with a beta version made available on Steam back in February 2016. It carries a pretty clear Zelda inspiration with it and features a procedurally generated world - players enter a number at the beginning of the game which will generate a world that is unique to that number, meaning that you can provide the number to a friend so that they can have the same experience ... Capcom have announced that their upcoming re-release of the fantasy RPG Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will be available on Xbox One from October 3rd. The game first launched back in 2012 on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 to generally positive reviews. Its Pawn system was quite interesting, as you made a second character who would both serve as an additional party member and could be loaned out to other players, earning experience and the like on their travels. This re-release will consist of the same content as the Dark Arisen PC port from last year, which included the base ... Read More »
The announcement of a mini golf DLC for Dead Rising 4 was met with equal parts confusion and amazement, but could now be set to be the most fun part of the whole game. Not a lofty task, but still. We won't have to wait long to find out the actual quality of this DLC, as Capcom have announced that Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf will be launching on June 20th. Of course, this will be a round of golf like no other, with the golfers in exo-suits, zombies littering the fairways and golf balls that do not ... Read More »
Hotly anticipated sequel to one of the better Lord of the Rings games ever made, Middle of Earth: Shadow of War, has been delayed until October 10th 2017. Originally scheduled to be released in August, the developers over at Monolith have stated that they are committed to delivering the best quality game possible, and in order to achieve that goal, they've made the difficult decision to push back the release date. Obviously it's not an ideal situation, and it's a decision Monolith did not make lightly, but a month or two delay is a small price to pay for better ... Read More »

Rockstar are the masters of keeping silent with their big games until close to release. But if retailer Base is anything to go by, then we might not have too long to wait. They have set a release for Red Dead Redemption 2 for 26th September 2017. This could indicate a possible leak and also sits in line with previous big releases - GTA V launched in the late September window also. What really strikes us though is that other big titles that are on their way such as , Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3 have a placeholder date ... Read More »
