When Battleborn released earlier this year we found a game that was a pleasant mix of various genres. Whilst having a steep learning curve it was still fun to play with a different and interesting style. Unfortunately, it soon fell out of favour with many gamers. Back in October 2009, Gearbox gave the world its vision of a RPG style first person shooter that gave us all an original IP in a style never seen. Borderlands gave fans of multiple genres a way to spend 1,000's of hours of our lives in the world of Pandora and it's millions of weapons and loot. Gearbox Software, the developers behind the Borderlands franchise have announced that they are opening a new studio in Quebec and are currently recruiting developers. The developers hired will work on an initial title that will lead to full AAA production capability through 2016.
