Continuing with their ever-increasing support for Rocket League, Psyonix has recently announced what's in store for the September update. The most notable feature to arrive, and one that has been heavily requested, is the ability to open those loot crates without purchasing a key - finally! It's not exactly that simple though. The racing football crossover Rocket League is set to get another surprising and somewhat surreal update soon that will see the real life toy cars been brought to a screen near you. Developer Psyonix today took to Twitter to announce that some Hot Wheel cars and items will be coming to Rocket League. Hot Wheels is coming to Rocket League on February 21st! Psyonix remains a creature of habit by announcing a number of rewards competitive players can expect to receive for Rocket League Season 3, (as they did with Season 1 and 2). By Psyonix own admission, Season 3 has run for considerably longer than anticipated however, we have been assured that this is due to the amendments they have made specifically for Season 4. Patch notes published over at the official website for Rocket League, detail what's included with this new (mostly) free DLC: Arena Starbase ARC is now available in all playlists.
