In some respect, Prey has been a long time coming. Originally, the title was planned and announced as a sequel to the 2006 game by Human Head Studios, also known as Prey. The long wait for the much anticipated Prey is nearly over, and to mark the occasion, Bethesda have released a launch trailer. You have numerous abilities at your disposal aboard Talos I. But you're not alone, and the video demonstrates both aspects of what will be happening on your ship. Bethesda have also detailed the day one patch heading to the game before its release on May 5th. Prey is due to finally launch this Friday May 5th, and as seems to be the standard in this day and age, it comes equipped with a day one patch. Weighing in at 1.3 GB, it's not going to break the bandwidth but it will bring a range of tweaks and fixes to the launch day release. Sections where enemies were reported to be  shooting through walls among other minor glitches have been solved. Along with a range of audio problems and visual effects. Arkane Studios, the developers behind Dishonored, bring us the sequel to the first Prey game, which launched over a decade ago. With around four years of development time under its belt, Prey is very much a FPS with a sci-fi theme. One of the games that took a lot of people by surprise at this year's E3 was Prey. The sequel to the 2006 FPS was stuck in development hell for a number of years, and many believed that a new Prey game would never see the light of day. Enter Arkane Studios, developers of the popular Dishonoured, who decided to resurrect the IP for a whole new game.
