There is something inescapably creepy going on in Inside‘s world. It’s a largely monochrome landscape, save for a splash of red here and there and, once, a golden sunset, but for all the aesthetic similarities this is a different beast from Playdead’s Limbo. Indie game. Platformer. They’re ten-a-penny, and it can be difficult to stand out in such a crowded field. Kick & Fennick developer Jaywalkers Interactive certainly hopes that this latest entry in the genre has what it takes to get noticed. Kick & Fennick’s hook is a big one. Make some time for this puzzler. Today Gamesoft, a brand new Australian developer, have announced it’s debut game Clockwork. Clockwork is a 2D puzzle platforming adventure set in Watchtower, a mechanical city that is divided by wealth and poverty after a great plague.
