Since the extremely successful launch of the decade long developed Final Fantasy XV a couple of weeks ago, Xbox gamers have been concerned about a blurriness to visuals. This is having a profound negative effect on gameplay, according to players of the highly rated RPG. Issues appear to relate to the compression of textures and resolution scaling on the Xbox One, resulting in unwanted blurs during gameplay. Guardians were treated to a bunch of new news about Destiny and it’s developer Bungie that shed more light about their upcoming event on December 13th known as The Dawning.  There was also some more information about some changes to the current matchmaking settings in the Crucible.  Bungie also announced a new partnership with another studio. Bethesda have confirmed via Twitter that patch 1.2 has been been released on Xbox One today. The patch notes include fixes for numerous areas such as stability, crashing (which we’ve seen a LOT of) and general performance issues. Also for mod fans, there’s a fix to prevent the game from crashing when loading a new mod, hurrah! Bethesda have announced that a patch is incoming for The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Remaster. Although already released on PC, the patch which focuses on audio issues will be hitting the Xbox One version shortly. After the launch of the Special Edition a week ago, players were quick to notice an audio downgrade on the original, caused by a compression issue. According to a forum post by The Coalition, a small Xbox One title update will iron out the ‘hitching’ issues some players have experienced in the early part of Gears of War 4  multi-player matches. Hitching is a short period of extreme lag, and this small (218MB) update should solve the problem for Xbox One users. A Title Update will be available for Gears of War 4 today. Gears of War 4 officially launched today around the globe, but deluxe edition buyers have been playing for almost a week with the new ‘Play Early’ system that seems to be becoming a trend with first party games.
