As always, Epic Games are continuing their support for Fortnite, for both Save the World campaign and the free Battle Royale mode. What’s interesting to see is that what was previously a glitch which allowed players to ride rockets has now been introduced as an actual element of the game. Epic Games have released some patch notes of a new update for Fortnite that brings plenty of quality-of-life adjustments for both the Save the World campaign and Battle Royale mode. You can check out the patch notes below. Battle Royale Gameplay You can now switch between teammates while spectating. Fixed an issue which caused enemy players to instantaneously appear once they emerged from behind an object. This issue occurred frequently if shadows were disabled in the game options. Today sees the release of Fortnites’s PvP Battle Royale mode go free to all. A clone of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, sees you drop in to a large map from a flying bus, fighting it out to be top dog. Friday the 13th released on 26th May 2017, and by all accounts has been an extremely buggy experience. The Xbox One version has been particularly afflicted – apparently due to the delay of a Day One patch that was released to other platforms shortly after the game launched. Today has seen the SMITE update, Pillars of Success, launch on consoles. That means the new update is now available to players on Xbox one.
