Brace yourselves, guys and girls, we’ve got a lot to get through. Yesterday, the new Story trailer dropped for the upcoming DC fighting game Injustice 2, which revealed new characters in the form of Brainiac, Bane, Robin and Poison Ivy, and an idea as to where the story is heading. Spoiler alert: it looks fantastic. We also saw that Darkseid will be a pre-order exclusive and that the game will ship on May 16th 2017. All of this makes up for the lack of information we’ve received about the game over the last couple of months, but it appears Netherealm … Read More »

Warner Bros Games have just released a new trailer for the upcoming re-release of LEGO CITY Undercover, which was formerly exclusive to Nintendo’s Wii U. Based on the authentic LEGO CITY playset, the game sees protagonist Chase McCain go undercover to apprehend criminal and hated adversary Rex Fury, offering players a chance to explore a city filled with crime, collectibles and daft movie references. It wouldn’t be a LEGO game without that trademark humour, after all. The trailer below shows off some of the hijinks you can get up to as part of the LEGO CITY Police Department when the … Read More »

It was announced last month that Bandai Namco and New Japan Pro Wrestling would be joining forces for the upcoming Tekken 7, showing off a new King outfit based on the NJPW Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. Turns out, the deal extends even further than that. A new trailer has revealed outfits for Bryan and Jack, showing them adorned in Bullet Club swag. If you don’t know who Bullet Club are, they’re a prominent wrestling faction that have been taking over “indie” wrestling for a couple of years. Members have included current WWE stars AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Luke Gallows and … Read More »

A new trailer has dropped for Ubisoft’s upcoming melee brawler For Honor, detailing the much anticipated campaign mode and the mysterious Warlord Apollyon. The trailer, which you can check out for yourself below, sees the aforementioned Warlord run down the three factions in the game; the Knights, the Vikings and the Samurai, and basically call them weak for not seeking constant war. How dare they want peace, they’re in a video game! The rest of the trailer shows how successful Apollyon has been at playing all 3 factions against each other. Clearly, the finale will be all the factions uniting … Read More »

The WWE games always boast an impressive array of things to customise and mess about with, whether that be making an entire arena rainbow coloured, or turning John Cena into a fat old man with the moves of Rey Mysterio. If this trailer anything to go by, WWE 2K17 should be even more bonkers. The trailer shows off all the usual modes you’d expect to find in a WWE Creation Suite: Create-A-Superstar, Create-A-Championship, Create-A-Moveset, Create-An-Arena and Create-A-Show all make a comeback, and they’re all getting improvements. New hair and skin options are now available when making your freakish grappler, whilst … Read More »

It’s a good time to be a fighting game fan on the Xbox One. Namco Bandai and fighting game legend Katsuhiro Harada took to the stage at Microsoft’s E3 briefing to show off Tekken 7 on Xbox One. Showcasing what appeared to be a Story Mode battle between guest character Akuma and mainstay Heihachi Mishima, we see both an awesome cutscene and a battle between the two icons. The game will be releasing in Early 2017, and will be up-to-date with the current Japanese arcade version, Fated Retribution. Also, as a celebration of Tekken on Xbox One, previous game Tekken Tag … Read More »

You thought that no announcements would be left for E3 season? EA are out to prove that wrong, giving you something that you never knew you needed: a Story Mode in FIFA. No, this isn’t April Fool’s. Fans of either the popular anine/manga or the surprise hit game from last year will be pleased to hear that Bandai Namco and Dimps will be releasing Dragonball Xenoverse 2 sometime this year. Somewhat of a departure from the usual DBZ style games, Xenoverse saw players make their own characters/Namekian monstrosities to take part in an “original storyline” as you try to repair the broken timestream of the series. Sure, it was just a retelling of the source material, but there was some original content thrown in for good measure, by way of completely original characters and new match-ups. Super … Read More »
