One of the games that took a lot of people by surprise at this year’s E3 was Prey. The sequel to the 2006 FPS was stuck in development hell for a number of years, and many believed that a new Prey game would never see the light of day. Enter Arkane Studios, developers of the popular Dishonoured, who decided to resurrect the IP for a whole new game. In case you missed it, Bethesda’s creative director Hugo Martin and executive producer Marty Stratton ran through a few levels of the much anticipated campaign mode of the upcoming DOOM. Whilst offering a glimpse of the sheer amount of enemies and carnage on screen, a few gameplay details did emerge: Veterans of the multiplayer beta will recognise the total lack of reloading for any of the weapons. This probably won’t come as a shock to anyone well-versed in their JRPGs, but it’s been revealed that the main storyline for Final Fantasy XV will take up to 50 hours to complete. Director Hajime Tabata has let slip a few details ahead of the Uncovered Final Fantasy XV event which will take place on March 30th. He said that originally, the game was planned to last around 40 hours, but they decided to chuck in the length of 2 whole Call of Duty games at no extra cost.
