EA recently confirmed to investors that the next Need for Speed game will launch by March 2018. Not to be confused with Need for Speed: Edge, which is in development at EA’s Korean studio, this new game has yet to be titled. It will be the first entry in the main series since the 2015 reboot Need for Speed. According to Andrew Wilson, EA CEO, this new game will be “ambitious” and have a competitive online focus. Two of EA Games best will be coming to the EA Access Vault on July 12.  For those unfamiliar, EA Access gives gamers access a library of full EA games for a monthly fee. EA today announced the new update for Need for Speed. The update will include manual transmission, new cars, more garage space and drag races as a game mode. This update comes after an influx of players requested changes to the title. Ghost Games released the latest installment in the Need for Speed franchise last year and it wasn’t an entirely well received game.
