Today, Monolith Productions has released a story trailer for the upcoming Middle Earth: Shadow of War - the highly anticipated sequel to 2014's Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. The game is set in the universe of JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and (judging from the trailer) looks like it will feature many of the elements that make the world so appealing to so many of us - including Sauron, another ring of power (!), Nazgul, and Shelob. Hotly anticipated sequel to one of the better Lord of the Rings games ever made, Middle of Earth: Shadow of War, has been delayed until October 10th 2017. Originally scheduled to be released in August, the developers over at Monolith have stated that they are committed to delivering the best quality game possible, and in order to achieve that goal, they've made the difficult decision to push back the release date. Monolith Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's Lord of the Rings game from last year was very well received, garnering multiple awards from the industry. Unsurprisingly (but not undeservedly) Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is getting a Game of the Year Edition, which will feature all downloadable content for the game as well as sporting an eye-catching cover.
