When this year's iteration of Call of Duty was announced with it's trailer revealed shortly after, the internet was in uproar. Soon after that, they announced that they will include a remastered Modern Warfare to please it's fans, but with a hefty price to pay. With the release of Destiny's latest expansion, Rise of Iron, imminent it stands to reason that there would be a whole host of information flooding out from the Darkness into the Light (zero apologies for that gag) and we have yet more information for you today. So about a week ago now a nasty, horrible, awful rumor surfaced on the internet that Bungie would soon allow players to purchase heavy ammo packs with real money as opposed to picking them up in game or using a heavy ammo synth purchased with in game currency (such as glimmer). In an unexpected move, Bungie have announced that micro-transactions will be coming to Destiny on October 13th. Now hold on! This isn't exclusive quests or Crucible content locked behind a paywall! No, the new content on offer behind these micro-transactions are... some new emotes, if you like that sort of thing.
