Many have thought that the backwards compatibility program has been slowing down somewhat over the past couple of weeks, myself included. There are only a finite number of games to utilise, after all. But then something like this happens and my faith has been restored all over again. Major Nelson has announced that they will be pushing a new dashboard update sometime today, bringing with it a host of new features. If you're an Xbox Insider receiving the preview updates, regardless of which ring you're in, you should by now be familiar with these updates that everyone should now receive. Major Nelson has taken to Twitter to reveal two more Xbox 360 titles that have now become part of the backwards compatible library for Xbox One. First up we have Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. Probably wasn't at the top of many peoples list but if you didn't check out the 2011 FPS upon its release, now your chance. And secondly a bit of a random one, F1 2014 zooms into the library. Whay this edition specifically no one knows. The latest Deals with Gold have been unleashed via Major Nelson. There's some big discounts to be had, and a cracking deal on Mass Effect Andromeda whist other titles such as Yooka Laylee make their first cut price appearance. After a few lacking weeks for the Xbox 360, the list has swollen thanks to the blue speedster that is Sonic the Hedgehog. With a good chuck of his games available through backwards compatibility too. You know, if you like playing inferior versions of games currently available on Xbox One.
