If you've been here any length of time you might pick up on the fact that there's an argument to be made that INSIDE is the greatest video game ever created , anywhere, in all galaxies and universes. Playdead's masterpiece, building on the success of LIMBO and then overshadowing it in every way possible, is one of the most compelling, artistic, mesmerising experiences around. It was our indie game of 2016 and is still the only game ever to score 10 out of 10 in an Xbox One UK review. So, we were understandably all of a Squee! when Playdead ... Read More »
It's a system that's caused lots of happiness and sorrow, depending on the week-to-week announcements, but the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program is here to stay. According to Phil Spencer though, the best might be yet to come. Responding to fan's appreciation on making Blue Dragon compatible, he tweeted out the following: @HippeusOmega@Xbox Thanks, BC team just sent me their planned November list, looks to be a great BC month, landing some of top fan requests — Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) November 2, 2016 What does he mean by "some of top fan requests"? There is something inescapably creepy going on in INSIDE's world. It's a largely monochrome landscape, save for a splash of red here and there and, once, a golden sunset, but for all the aesthetic similarities this is a different beast from Playdead's LIMBO. That might not be immediately apparent. Opening in a sombre wood, our young protagonist is immediately on the run - but running from, or to, what is not yet clear. It's a similar beginning to that of LIMBO, and no doubt intentionally so. Squint through screwed up eyes and you'd be forgiven for mistaking one for the other. But Inside is ... Read More »

There is a phenomenon experienced by gamers that we have all felt at some point. It's that point were we feel the tears start to build behind our eyes, when we feel our blood vessels pounding and all we see is red. At this moment our friends or loved ones will look at us and say something like “I don't know why you play that if you hate it so much” or “why don't you just turn the Xbox off?” They will never understand. The phenomenon I speak of is of course gamer rage. Sometimes every gamer will rage at ... Read More »
Inside is the upcoming game being developed by PlayDead, who you may remember were responsible for the awesome experience that was Limbo. That game has now been delayed and in a statement the studio had this to say... "Last year we announced that INSIDE would be out in 'early 2015'.
