With the ever expanding presence of camera phones and the internet, leaks happen.  It looks like someone from Gamestop may have snapped an image showing what might be the release date for Tekken 7.  Tekken 7 has been in arcades since 2015 but may be launching on 28 May 2017.  That isn’t very far away so it would be nice to get the next title in the classic fighting game franchise.  The leaked image is below and as someone who did nice work at a Gamestop does match the inventory system.  Is the image completely legit though we don’t know.  We will … Read More »

As gamers we’re often treated to leaks related to games that we’re eagerly anticipating. Whether it be details on the games characters, what to expect from the gameplay or indeed the titles release date. It’s the latter that we’re going to look at today as it appears that retailer Littlewoods have leaked the release date for Rockstar’s highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2. The game is currently listed on their website (here) with the astronomical price of £69.99 and an “Order now for delivery on” date of 02-October-2017. If the date being touted by Littlewoods is an accurate one then it’s … Read More »

Current day gaming suffers quite often from information about upcoming title updates being leaked. Whether it is at the hands of inside sources or data miners, in this case it’s the latter. It appears that a group of tech savvy Call of Duty fans have rummaged through the data held within the games files, and have come up with what they believe is going to be included in the next content update for Modern Warfare Remastered. If the information that came as a result of the datamine is to be believed then here’s what to expect in the next MWR update: … Read More »

Thanks Best Buy, for revealing the Mass Effect Andromeda box art. Well, it is N7 Day, so while we were expecting some more details about EA and Bioware’s latest opus, we didn’t think we’d get it this early. A Twitter user has posted the box art for Mass Effect: Andromeda after it leaked over on the Best Buy website. What do you think? Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe Edition pic.twitter.com/D7JbaQn8Ww — Wario64 (@Wario64) November 7, 2016 It’s suitably mysterious and Mass Effect-y. Unfortunately, while we know what the game will look like, there’s no definite release date to go with the … Read More »

We could now know precisely when Bioware’s Mass Effect: Andromeda is going to release – and we have publisher Dark Horse to thank. The accidental leak comes courtesy of a listing on Amazon for the inevitable artwork book that generally accompanies the strongly visual Mass Effect series. So here we have The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda, published by Dark Horse. And among all the blurb about memorable characters, concept art and visceral combat is a killer line… Dark Horse will release The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda simultaneously with the game! The book’s slated to release on 21st March … Read More »

Overwatch fans have been waiting a long time for the latest update on rumoured hacker hero Sombra. She’s even been referenced in-game, with Reaper declaring ‘Where’s Sombra when you need her?’ Well, if this leak is true, she’s right here. Originally, the following image was spotted on Blizzard’s intranet – and pretty swiftly that was taken down, leaving us with a screenshot from a Reddit user, and a few bits of information. Right off the bat, Sombra looks just as kick-ass as the rest of the heroic Overwatch line-up. In the text beneath the image, we learn a little more … Read More »

Who wants more Overwatch content? Trick question, of course you do. Well, if this supposed Xbox Store leak is to be believed, Overwatch will be getting some themed Halloween content. An eagle-eyed redditor managed to grab a blurry picture of purchasable Halloween loot boxes. Whilst the blurriness might call the legitimacy into question, it does follow the same pattern of the Summer Games lootboxes. The leak also goes on to confirm that there will be more than 100 Halloween items, which works out on average to just over 5 items per character. These will include skins, intros, emotes, sprays, voice … Read More »

Normally, we wait for word from the publisher before confirming rumour but thanks to the power of the Internet and an enterprising young man with one of those new-fangled phone cameras, we’re ready to announce this as an almost-certainty: Forza Horizon 3 will be getting a  Free Demo ahead of the game’s launch on 27 September. The Horizon franchise has a pretty good track record when it comes to demos, and – whilst not exactly surprising – this news is welcome. You won’t have to wait until 27 September (or 23 September if you pre-order the £79.99 ‘Ultimate’ version of the … Read More »

There are rumours abound on the world wide web that Square Enix’s blockbuster title Final Fantasy XV has been delayed. Various respected news sites are reporting that the top brass in Gamestop Corporate are being given the instruction to communicate the delay to customers. The leak comes in the form of an image that supposedly shows how to apply large stickers to in store promotional material. These stickers will cover up the initial 30th of September release date and convey the new date of 29th of November. Now of course there is the very real possibility that this is one … Read More »
