If you want to see Harley Quinn taking it to Captain Cold, Injustice 2 is where it’s at. The super hero punch-up is eagerly awaited by comic book and fighting game fans alike (a Venn diagram would show a fairly sizable overlap, if a straw poll of the Xbox One UK castle’s inhabitants is to be believed). Well, it looks like we have a street date for the NetherRealm Studios fighter – if we’re not reading too much into the studio’s creative director’s Tweet. pic.twitter.com/wPVv13JMNi — Ed Boon (@noobde) January 6, 2017 Injustice 2. o5. 16. 17. Mass Effect Andromeda has been one of the most anticipated games of 2017 and so far we have not been informed of the release date. Injustice 2 is also one of the games that have only had a Spring 2017 indication. Now thanks to Microsoft’s pre order site, we can now see the release dates for both games. Injustice 2 listed for March 28th and Mass Effect Andromeda listed for March 31st   March 31st is a Friday this year, which is the day EA often put out their most anticipated games (See Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 last year.) … Read More »

Fans of NetherReal Studios Injustice: Gods Among Us  have been waiting with baited breath for a news about the upcoming sequel to the hugely popular fighting game. The wait is now over with concrete details coming out via marketing manager of NetherRealm Studios Brian Goodman. The news came during an interview Brian Goodman conducted with Game Reactor. He revealed that Injustice 2 will have different gameplay and storyline to its predecessor. He was quoted as saying: “Structure-wise, it’s going to be a little bit different, there’s going to be definitely an opportunity to go through the story mode, and we’re definitely going … Read More »

The cynic in me says this reveal was timed with the recent release of Suicide Squad, but that’s a digression for another day. At Gamescom 2016, Netherrealm Studios revealed the next two members of the Injustice 2 roster: master assassin Deadshot, and the maniacal Harley Quinn. Both of them look like a lot of fun to play! Harley utilises a somewhat comedic offense of over-sized hammers and baseball bats, alongside her two pet hyenas. Deadshot, meanwhile, sets out to prove why his Gun Fu is better… and succeeds. We also get a look at some of the alternate costumes you … Read More »

We always get a little hyped by trailers – even if we’re not so keen on the games themselves. So if you’ve missed any, here’s our list of the absolute best trailers we saw in July… We Happy Few – Gameplay Trailer A pitch-perfect trailer that shows off the graphics and gameplay of Compulsion Games’ indie survival sim, while playing it tongue-in-cheek with the set-up of the whole game. Inside Accolades Trailer Ordinarily, we’d be super-wary of any game that was basing an entire trailer around all those lovely, lovely things that lovely, lovely shills say to get their names on the … Read More »

Injustice 2 is the follow up title to the critically acclaimed 2013 fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Much like it’s predecessor Injustice 2 is being developed by NetherRealm Studios, with the infamous Ed Boon at the helm. For those that know of Ed Boon I’m sure you’ll agree that he’s not one to shy away from the spotlight, nor is he afraid to make controversial decisions, I mean when you’re creative director of the studio most famous for Mortal Kombat then controversy is pretty much part of your DNA. Well, Mr Boon is at it again, taking to Twitter to discuss which … Read More »

Looks like Wonder Woman got beefed up for the upcoming sequel to Injustice. Lasso, sword, and shield combos pack an impressive-looking punch against enemies. The long-range lasso attacks are certainly going to help me out! Fitting that Wonder Woman’s buff in revealed today, her 75th Anniversary! Blue beetle also looks like a pretty great character that has good ranged and up-close attacks. His ability to create different weapons for his suit looks pretty cool, but his overall speed and then tail attack at 1:01 reminds me of D’Vorah from Mortal Kombat X.  If they have him beefed like her, he’s going … Read More »
