I’m a huge fan of the Rock Band series and when Rock Band 4 was announced for this generation of consoles, I was screaming like a schoolgirl. Almost all of the tracks for the previous games and DLC would be available and wouldn’t have to be repurchased – which amazed me since I’ve thrown around $600 towards DLC songs. I’m really not kidding either. I blindly purchased the full band kit and came home to find a key staple of the game missing – ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!  So yes, while the game actually launched on 6 October, 2015, it’s not until nearly a … Read More »

If you’re a regular on Infinity Ward’s latest offering in the Call of Duty franchise, Infinite Warfare, then you’re sure to have witnessed, read about or heard about the latest scandal involving glitched Supply Drops in the game. In short the glitch allowed players to open a supply drop containing 30 keys, the currency used to buy the games rarest items, over and over again. Ordinarily it would take players a huge amount of time or large quantities of real world money to rack up the amount of keys they were earning from this glitch. Gameplay patch 1.07 was deployed … Read More »

It’s that time of year again. No not Christmas. Well of course we get the jolly fat man getting stuck in countless chimneys year after year, but it’s also the time for the first DLC announcement for the year’s iteration of Call of Duty. Activision have recently announced that the first DLC pack for Infinite Warfare will be titled Sabotage. The DLC adds, as always, a new zombie map; this time moving up an era with it’s 90’s themed with a rave taking place in the woods simply titled: Rave in the Redwoods. Along with the zombie map is 4 … Read More »

Infinite Warfare is here to stay, it’s had its ups and downs but it’s hard to deny that despite its flaws it does still have an ample fan base. That being said, as with the majority of titles with a large amount of support the developers of Infinite Warfare, Infinity Ward, are doing all they can to keep the title fresh and keep players interested. As such this coming weekend they’re introducing a traditional Call of Duty mode back into Infinite Warfare’s playlist. That mode is Tactical Team Death Match. The details of the mode can be seen in the quote … Read More »

Are Activision trying to gain their fans back, and encourage them to return to the franchise? It seems like for the first time they’ve read A Christmas Carol and have taken a page from Scrooge’s book. Not really known for limited events other than Double XP and 24/7 single map lobbies, the CoD publisher has decided to shower us with festive cheer this year, and offer some incentives to bring back the players since it’s taken a hit from recent Call of Duty titles. Posted over at Activision’s own blog, they’ve released some information on what they have in store for us this Christmas: … Read More »

It seems that since launch the main aim for Infinite Warfare from publisher Activision and developer Infinity Ward has been to win back alienated fans. Late last night they took a step in the right direction by releasing the Terminal map to all players. The map is a remaster of the classic Terminal map from Modern Warfare 2. Missed your chance to get Terminal at launch? We’ve got you covered. Terminal is now free for all #InfiniteWarfare players! pic.twitter.com/0XhMlN6cuu — Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) December 5, 2016 If you didn’t gain access to the Terminal map through pre-ordering or purchasing from a … Read More »

Infinite Warfare has had a rocky life from the beginning, it had the most dislikes on a YouTube video we have ever seen. Neither the less that didn’t stop Activision from launching and all out assault to make sure Infinity Wards title smashed sales numbers. This included bundling Modern Warfare Remastered in with the special edition. Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sales Info has been released, the numbers aren’t good. Infinite Warfare sold only 1.8 million copies in the first week! Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare sold 830,989 copies on the PS4, 781,551 on Xbox One and 200,783 ± 11,603 on … Read More »

There are few games in recent memory that are quite as polarizing as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Sure Destiny has divided some opinions and the Division really drew some battle lines. Infinite Warfare though has really been on the receiving end of some awful publicity (just ask its reveal trailer on YouTube). However, that hasn’t caused Infinity Ward to lose faith in their product and they’re pushing on with all plans and promotions we’ve come to expect from the Call of Duty franchise. This weekend sees the return of fan favourite events, Double XP and Double Weapon XP. Need weekend … Read More »
