Turtle Beach Corporation has announced that it will be launching a brand new, officially licensed headset for use with the Xbox One later this year. We're big fans of LucidSound - we gave their first two headsets (the LS30 Wireless Universal Gaming Headset and the LS20 Amplified Universal Gaming Headset) four-and-a-half stars out of five apiece. LucidSound have produced some of the best-sounding headsets we've ever tested, and we can't wait to get our hands on the brand new LS40 Wireless Surround Universal Gaming Headset to put it through its paces. We're expecting great things! And we're expecting great things later in 2017, too, when LucidSound starts to ship officially-licensed audio products for Xbox One and Xbox One S. We think this is great news - ... Read More »
Two hours into my Furi play session, the music is pounding through the LS20 LucidSound Amplified Headset, my eyes fixated on the screen in attempt to conquer the challenges that lie ahead. The headphones have immersed me so much that I fail to notice my mother entering my room to tap me on the shoulder… Looks like I need a new pair of pants to go with this headset. The LS20 is the latest headset to come from the recently formed LucidSound. We've reviewed their other product, the LS30, and we were rather fond of it. So hopes were high ... Read More »
Headsets have become a vital piece of a gamer's kit - as anyone who remembers the furore when Microsoft announced they wouldn't be including a chat headset in the box from day one (they quickly relented) will understand. For many, the flimsy but serviceable Xbox One Chat headset will be all they ever need; useful for both chatting with team mates and shouting at Cortana, it does the job. There are benefits, though, to be gained from stepping a rung or two up the headset ladder, and opting for a stereo gaming headset that delivers both chat and game audio straight to ... Read More »
