The scheduled update for Rock Band 4, that was due to arrive in January, has been pushed back a week and is now officially the titles February update. There was bug discovered late in the patch that caused the delay but to the credit of Harmonix they have been forthcoming with this information, specifically in their blog which can be found here, and not made excuses for themselves. When the update does eventually arrive it will fix score exploits, allow leaderboard postings for Play a Show mode, and improve audio quality. Three songs are being released tomorrow (19/01/2016) at the very reasonable price of £1.59 each, not bad as you can’t really get much for that money now a days. More songs are to be added to Rock Band 4 later this year as Harmonix announced a Pro-Cymbals expansion kit and more DLC songs. The Pro-Cymbals kit currently open for pre orders comes with a crash,ride and hi-hat cymbals which can detect soft and hard hits. These connect with the Rock Band 4 drum kit and you will have access to the game’s Pro Mode. The Pro Mode will add whole new level to challenge your drumming skills.
