Last weekend saw Skyrim arrive for the Free Play Days event and keeping up what now seems to be a continuous affair, this weekend sees Dead by Daylight entering the free weekend for the firt time. Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed. Free Play Days is a promotion that allow players a couple of days to trial a game they may still be on the fence about. Previous weekends have included Overwatch, Halo 5 and more, but this weekend sees Diablo III take on that mantle. The promotion is currently live right now and will run until 11:59PM PST on Monday 31st July, which works out as 6:59AM on Tuesday in GMT. No, this isn't a premature April Fool's joke. This weekend, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to experience trials of two triple-A titles. Fill yer boots! The first game is one of 2016's best shooters, Titanfall 2. To celebrate the release of the recent update Colony Rising, Gold Members will be able to download a trial of the game which will include access to the multiplayer and the double XP weekend, alongside the tutorial and first mission of the campaign mode. If you've yet to test out the highly rated and arguably best FPS of last year, Battlefield 1, you will soon be able to for free. As part of the now semi-regular Xbox Free Play Days, you can download and join in on the action this weekend. Starting at 5pm GMT, March 3 through to 8am, March 6, you'll have access to the full game, every mode and multiplayer map and the single player campaign. After Microsoft today announced that Xbox Live multiplayer is going free till the 19th February, Major Nelson has now confirmed via Twitter that two games will be joining the promotion as part of Xbox's 'Free Play Days'. First up you'll be able to download and play Rocket League. If you've yet to try out the zany football/driving crossbreed title, you can check out our review. Free Play Days is a great little promotion that allows for players to try out a game for a couple of days with no strings attached, and it would appear that the next game in line is Diablo III, if the Xbox Store is to be believed. Take this with a pinch of salt for now, as nothing has been confirmed, but the Xbox Store currently lists Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (such a wordy title) as part of the Free Play Days promotion.
