It’s always neat when developers include Easter eggs in their games – and it seems DICE have done precisely that with Battlefield 1. It all started when a Youtuber, jackfrags, discovered a pair of headphones on the multiplayer maps. Once players have the headphones, they’ll need to track down mcom stations to hear a message that plays out in Morse code. Now gamers are relentlessly pursuing these Easter eggs, to discover the meaning behind the Morse code messages – there’s a dedicated thread over on Reddit detailing their discoveries. But it seems that even now, the real meaning behind the … Read More »

The fourth entry in the DOOM series launched earlier this year on Xbox One. Originally, DOOM 3 launched on the Xbox in 2004 before being digitally remastered in HD for the Xbox 360 … Read More »

Probably not, but we’ll tell you anyway: Game sales suggest that Battlefield 1 is number one in the charts, taking the lion’s share of the market(approximately 45%, in fact). EA and DICE’s FPS also racked up another huge achievement: Battlefield 1’s sales beat the launch week sales of both Battlefield 4 and Hardline combined. Across all … Read More »

Eagle-eyed gamers have spotted the sequel to EA’s Star Wars Battlefront on Amazon.co.uk. Despite mixed reviews to the original (sound design, graphics, atmosphere = good; all-too-easy accessibility, no story mode, lack of game modes and maps = bad), it was inevitable that we’d be seeing the release of Star Wars Battlefront II. Our real hope is that developer DICE have learnt lessons from issues raised with the previous game. As you’d expect from a game that’s barely been officially announced – with just a brief flash of the game’s logo at this year’s E3 aiming for a Holiday 2017 release … Read More »
