Last week we learnt all about Superman's desire to get the band back together, reform the Regime and dominate the planet once again, but today we've learnt about the latest character to join the Injustice 2 roster: step in Doctor Fate. Doctor Fate has had many iterations since his debut in 1940, but it appears that Netherrealm Studios have opted to utilise the original wearer of the Helm of Fate, Kent Nelson. Tekken 7 is coming and thanks to Bandai we now have a brand new trailer that's showcasing some single player action. The bulk of the trailer is dedicated to cinematics and other non-gameplay elements, though it's all very cool-looking nonetheless. Yesterday saw the release of a new trailer for Bandai Namco's upcoming game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This trailer consisted entirely of gameplay and showed off an intense battle between SSGSS Vegeta and Black Goku. https://youtu.be/pl3_LdHG3cg The announcement of Black Goku first came in the form of screenshots on the game's official Facebook page here. Fighting games are awesome. An expected declaration from a man who proclaims his love for the genre in his own bio, but it's a declaration I will hammer home until such time as Katsuhiro Harada appears at the Tokyo Game Show, announces fighting games are dead and commits seppuku live on stage. But until that day, the love between bearded man and battering simulations will continue unabated.
