A month before its release, Capcom have released a new trailer for the upcoming crossover fighter Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, and god knows it could use the positive press at the moment. The new trailer gives us more details on the Story Mode, which sees characters from Marvel and Capcom unite to take on the fusion of Ultron and Sigma, or Ultron-Sigma. Original name, huh? Ultron-Sigma is also flanked by Jedah from Darkstalkers, Marvel's Dormammu and a frigging Venom dinosaur. That's basically the most hype thing this game has going for it at the moment. Capcom have also confirmed the ... Read More »

Last week we learnt all about Superman's desire to get the band back together, reform the Regime and dominate the planet once again, but today we've learnt about the latest character to join the Injustice 2 roster: step in Doctor Fate. This seems to be par for the course with the Injustice universe, using the original characters instead of more modern versions of the characters. In terms of gameplay, ... Read More »

Fighting games are awesome. An expected declaration from a man who proclaims his love for the genre in his own bio, but it's a declaration I will hammer home until such time as Katsuhiro Harada appears at the Tokyo Game Show, announces fighting games are dead and commits seppuku live on stage. But until that day, the love between bearded man and battering simulations will continue unabated. And it's the love of fighting games that's shared by a lot of gaming companies and the mainstream media in general. So much so that guest characters often find their way into different ...
