It was announced last month that Bandai Namco and New Japan Pro Wrestling would be joining forces for the upcoming Tekken 7, showing off a new King outfit based on the NJPW Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. Turns out, the deal extends even further than that. A new trailer has revealed outfits for Bryan and Jack, showing them adorned in Bullet Club swag. If you don't know who Bullet Club are, they're a prominent wrestling faction that have been taking over "indie" wrestling for a couple of years. Members have included current WWE stars AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Luke Gallows and ... Read More »
It's been a long while since we've heard anything concrete about the upcoming Injustice 2. Almost 4 months, to be precise. No character reveals, no story details. Zip. Nada. Zero. Things could be about to change, however, as IGN recently got some hands-on time with the sequel to the popular 2013 DC fighting game, and it would seem that some of the cast have gone through some cosmetic changes. Fighting game hype man and prominent YouTuber Maximilian Dood released a video comparing some changes to both Supergirl and Wonder Woman. Both characters were criticised by fans for looking… odd, in ... Read More »

You'd be forgiven for thinking that Brawlout is just the latest in an ever expanding line of Smash Brothers clones, and whilst that is true to some extent when you look on the surface, beneath that lies a whole different beast entirely... You see, Brawlout is aiming for a more skill determined playstyle as opposed to Smash's sheer insanity. To turn a phrase; Smash is for show, Brawlout is for a pro. Fortunately, it won't take you long reach that higher skill level. Taking on the developers Angry Mob Games at their EGX stand, I was swiftly handed my ass ... Read More »

The adventures of Pirate Stretch Armstrong hav- no, wait. Monkey D. Luffy. Monkey D. Luffy. Anyway, Monkey D. Elastic Band Man has had a long and storied history in anime and manga. One which, quite frankly, has slipped under our radar. So would this be the game to drag us, kicking and screaming towards the high seas? Eh, probably not. One Piece: Burning Blood draws a lot of parallels to the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, as both are anime inspired fighting games that take a unique look at specific arcs within the narrative.
