It has been a week of wonders for the console world, Project Morpheus finally came to fruition and people all over world have started taking those red pills with the hopes to explore just how deep those rabbit holes go. With such a revolution in the way gaming is experienced by the consumer you would expect VR games to have dominated the UK’s Top 10 lists and whilst they may have taken the seventh and eighth spot with PlayStation VR Worlds and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood respectively even the innovation of VR couldn’t take down Octobers King of Games: … Read More »

Mafia 3 was released just a few days ago – but that hasn’t stopped it becoming the best-selling game in the series. The third instalment of the open-world gangster trilogy had a rocky start in the run up to release, with choppy frame-rates on the PC and not nearly as much buzz as publisher 2K would’ve liked, despite a heavy marketing push. But you can’t keep a good gangster down, and Mafia 3 has managed to beat Mafia 2’s week one sales record by a staggering 58.7%. However good those figures are – and developers Hangar 13 will be happy … Read More »

Following hot off the heels of the demo released last week (which seemed suspiciously coincidental that it became available to download the same day as Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 was officially released), EA has announced an official release date for its popular annual football game. If you happen to have an EA Access subscription, you can take advantage of an ‘earlier’ release, giving you a 10-hour trial and a somewhat generous 10% off the purchase of the full version of FIFA 17. But unlike previous iterations, you will only be able to access some of the new single player Journey mode … Read More »

If you’ve played FIFA over the years you may be a huge fan in the endless packs, Ultimate Team or Pro Player leveling that it has evolved into. While some may welcome the additions over the more recent of years, some may say that the annual changes have been minimal, with only a slightly more aesthetically-pleasing design to the gameplay.
